Honorable Prime Minister Sir, Your efforts towards strengthening of MSME sector are really motivating. Many of The MSME in this country are shut down from so many years, industrial infrastructure is blocked because of such sick units, Inline with your attempts in ensuring availability of infrastructure for MSME I request you to kindly make amendment in industrial laws whereby existing infrastructure can be utilized. There should be single window clearance mechanism for revival of closed units or sick units. DIC manager should be responsible for revival of units. by doing this significant amount of unused infrastructure will be available for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Sale of power across the States to be made reasonable. The IEX is one of the agencies which trades power between producers and consumers which are mainly Industries. Of late the surcharges on the traded power have become so heavy that production of power especially through renewable energy sources has become meaningless. There is an urgent need to review and remove all the surcharges so that private power producers are not burdened with social causes which can very well be addressed by the Government. For example an Industry in Tamil Nadu must be able to purchase power produced at a remote location in Rajasthan at an affordable price.

It must be made mandatory for all the Government Buildings and all Industrial Buildings to immediately go in for rooftop solar within a specified time period. Concurrently all the State Electricity Boards to be directed to provide the necessary infrastructure for connecting to this source of power. By doing this overnight we will be able to impact electricity generation in the country. There is an attempt by various State Distribution Agencies which are hampering the growth of rooftop solar through their protectionistic, monopolistic policies and rules preventing installation of rooftop solar not different from the licence raj of yester years. Suitable overarching policy to be provided to prevent the same and encourage roof top solar installations. Until these shackles are removed the millions of rooftops will continue to remain bare. " Little tiles of solar will help in creating an Ocean of energy".
