Municipal Corporations across the country will become more Efficient and People Friendly. In many States this will have a important impact on who becomes the Chief Minister. A Swing of 70-100 Lok Sabha seats will have a Decisive Impact in Choosing India’s Prime Minister.

These 16.22 crore people in 54 cities represent 70-100 Lok Sabha seats. They also represent 700-800 Vidhan Sabha seats and 1000’s of Municipality seats. When the Educated and Aware citizens in these 54 cities participate fully in democracy then we will get 1000s of honest, able and progressive leaders.

c) The Election department will need 7500 employees to support this system d) It will cost only 375 crore rupees per year to implement Phase 1 of this facility e) This Project will also support the KYC (Know Your Customer) requirement of Banks and other Service Providers like – Internet, Phone Connection etc. We can easily raise 1600 crore rupees for this initiative by charging a nominal fee to such entities. For the past 2 years I have worked very actively in this area. I have (along with my fellow volunteers) helped 95,000 people to get registered as voters in Pune City in past 2 years. I was the Campaign Coordinator of our Largest Voter Registration drive in which we helped 35,000 people to get registered over a 2 month drive.

Aim of this Proposal - Transform Democracy in 70-100 Urban Lok Sabha Seats. Today in India's Cities the number of Educated and Aware Citizens is rising rapidly. However most of them are not registered as Voters. This is a great loss to the nation. The Root Cause for this problem is the Inefficient and Cumbersome Voter Registration System in India.
