Unleash your creativity and design the Gyanpath Formation for Independence Day 2025!
Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to participate in a unique and patriotic design competition – “Design a Formation on Gyanpath” – as part of the upcoming Independence Day Ceremony 2025.
Each year on Independence Day, the majestic Red Fort in Delhi becomes the heart of national pride and celebration. As part of the ceremony, NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers, and School Children come together to form a grand visual display – known as the “Gyanpath Formation” – on the historic lawns of the Red Fort. This formation is a living tableau representing the values, achievements, and aspirations of our nation. With colourful placards, coordinated formations, and a thematic backdrop, the Gyanpath has emerged as a symbol of youthful energy, patriotism, and national unity.
Participants are invited to submit original designs or drawings that envision how the formation should look on 15th August 2025.
