CERT-In under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with Cyber Buddha and hosted on MyGov, invites young creators aged 12–14 years to participate in India’s first Cyber Security Reels Competition — the Hashtag Suraksha Cyber Security Reels Competition (Junior Category).
This competition encourages children to creatively express cyber safety messages through short, one-minute reels. Participants can use stories, rhymes, or simple visuals to explain safe online behavior, strong passwords, privacy awareness, and how to identify fake messages or links. The goal is to make learning about online safety fun and relatable.
Who Can Participate
• Indian students aged 12 to 14 years.
• Parental or school consent is mandatory.
Topics
• Creating strong passwords
• Avoiding fake or phishing links
• Respectful online communication
• Privacy basics for safe internet use
Evaluation
• Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, clarity of message, and relevance to cyber safety.
• Judges’ decisions will be final and binding.
Prizes
• Top 3 winners: Cyber Shield Trophy, Certificate from CERT-In, and Cash Prizes.
• Top 7 runners-up: Medals and Certificates.
