I want to dedicate myself for Mother Ganga. I feel if given a chance I will clean the mess dumped in The Ganga within a year. However for a sustainable culture to preserve the identity it will take atleast 3 years time. A roadmap in this regard is provided in attachment. Regional stratification aspect is not provided in the roadmap.

stop all sewage and industrial water flow. toilets facility on all riverbanks,regular cleaning of riverbanks with help of NAREGA,increase ecosystems of rivers,like fish,and friendly fungi and bacterias. strong punishment for use of plastics,ex water bottles nearby riverbanks.increase plantation along riverbanks,ECOTOURISM around riverbanks for maintenance and cleaning.create dedidated gazzeted officeer on km basis.every thing should be time bound.

firstly we need to understand if its sacred thn tough rules shld be mend to save what is pious for every indian,secondly ganga suraksha force should be created which will help ppl getting aware of the problems faced by the river ,nxt it will also stop and keep eyes on those who pollute pious ganga as ppl often use soaps and othr toxicated stuffs on the banks,nxt after evry 10 -15 kms the should be a naka in densely populated area tat will keep eyes on the pollutres of ganaga and will punish a/c

Nature will correct itself, All we need to do is slow down polluting it, and within couple of years we'll have a clean Ganga. Construction of 'Ghat' in cities and checking the effluents from the drainage system of city and that coming from factories should be given priority. Proper'Ghat' construction in cities are very important not only it'll eradicate the mud flow but also it'll attract tourism and in turn may earn revenue. Mass public awareness is very necessary for Clean and Pure Ganga.

Include Local people in Mass level for the clean up, as they are the part of problem as on today, but have the potential of being the part of solution for the Ganga mess. Drives which includes Government initiated and guided but executed with local Help will be the most successful approach in Cleaning Ganga.
