Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to participate in the Logo Design Contest for National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM).
India’s deep commitment to aspirational Climate Goals has been widely acknowledged in the comity of nations. India, with its vast renewable energy resources, also has the opportunity to produce Green Hydrogen for the world. The National Green Hydrogen Mission aims to provide a comprehensive action plan for establishing a Green Hydrogen ecosystem and catalysing a systemic response to the opportunities and challenges of this sunrise sector.
The overarching objective of the Mission is to make India the Global Hub for production, usage and export of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives. This will contribute to India’s aim to become Aatmanirbhar (self-reliant) through clean energy and serve as an inspiration for the global Clean Energy Transition.
Submission of Logo to follow the topic: NATIONAL GREEN HYDROGEN MISSION
I. Expectation from Logo Design
1. Capture the essence of the mission, which is our aspiration to become a global hub for production, usage and export of green hydrogen.
2. Capture the emerging nature of the sector, self-reliance, investment opportunities and green hydrogen utility across multiple sectors including Steel, Transport, Fertilizer, Shipping, petrochemicals.
3. Each entry should be accompanied by a brief written explanation of the logo and how best it encapsulates its essence.
II. Technical Parameters
1. Participants should upload the logo in JPEG or PNG or PDF format only.
2. All fonts should be converted to Outlines/Curves.
3. The logo should be in high resolution with minimum 300 DPI.
4. The size of the logo should be 15cm X 20cm.
5. File should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on screen at 100%.
6. The logo should be designed on a digital platform. The winner of the competition shall be required to submit the design in an editable and open file format.
7. The logo should be usable on the website/social media such as Twitter/Facebook and on printed material such as black and white press releases, stationery and signage.
8. Participants should not imprint or watermark logo design. Logo should be designed in color.
III. Evaluation Criteria
1. All the entries received would be assessed by internal committee of the MNRE formed for final evaluation.
2. Entries would be judged on the basis of elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit, visual impact and its relevance to the NGHM.
3. The decision of the internal committee of the MNRE would be final and binding on all the contestants and no clarifications would be issued to any participants for any of their decisions.
4. The disqualified entries shall not be used by NGHM for any purpose and the MNRE shall have no intellectual rights over the same. Any legal proceedings arising out of the competition/ its entries/ winners shall be subject to local jurisdiction of Delhi State.
IV. Gratification
1. The winning entry will be rewarded a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- and certificate of recognition by the Mission Director, NGHM.
2. Ten (10Nos) Runners-Up will be awarded with prize money of Rs. 5,000/- each.
Please note: The winner (01) will be reimbursed for round-trip domestic economy class airfare to New Delhi.
