The National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) is an autonomous organization (www.nipccd.nic.in) working under the aegis of Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. NIPCCD has been a key institution in India working towards the welfare of women and children focusing on public cooperation, training, and research in these critical areas. In light of the upcoming name change to Savitribai Phule National Institute of Women and Child Development, the institute aims to honor the legacy of Savitribai Phule: a pioneering social reformer who championed the cause of women’s education and child welfare in India.
Through this renaming and the logo design contest, NIPCCD seeks to create a visual identity that reflects its renewed commitment to continue Savitribai Phule's work in empowering women and children and promoting their rights and welfare across India.
