The "Selfies at Procurement Centres-RMS 2025-26 Wheat Procurement at MSP" activity is being organised by the Department of Food and Public Distribution in collaboration with MyGov as part of the Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2025-26 campaign. The activity is aimed at celebrating the selling of wheat at a Government mandi as an event to cherish. As selfies are taken at events and shared on social media, these selfies will help build memories of the sale of farmers' efforts and in return, receive MSP/DBT payment from the Government of India. The farmers can capture moments like loading/ unloading of crops into the tractor, going to mandis with other farmers, families, interaction with government officials, receiving MSP payment, etc.

To encourage farmers and stakeholders to visit procurement centres and share their experiences. Farmers visiting procurement centres will be invited to take selfies and share them on MyGov. This initiative will help humanize the wheat procurement process and create a positive narrative around MSP’s role in ensuring fair compensation for farmers.
