“Setu Bharatam” is an ambitious program to ensure Railway Crossing less National Highways by 2019. In order to ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has envisaged a plan for replacement of all the Level Crossings on National Highways by ROBs/ RUBs and replacement/ widening/ strengthening of weak and narrow bridges under” Setu Bharatam”.

Under this program, a total number of 208 Level Crossings have been identified for replacement by constructing ROBs in time bound manner. In addition, approximately 1500 bridges shall also be improved by replacement/widening/ strengthening in a phased manner.

Ministry of Road Transport & Highways invites entries from the public for suggesting Logo for “Setu Bharatam”

Last date for submission of entries: 31st May, 2016.

Selected entry will be awarded cash prize of Rs. 25000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand only)

this logo represents the objective of the SETU BHARATAM program..i.e, a road bridge over a railway line... 'bharatam' is in tri colour as to incorporate the pan-India approach of the program.

My entry for the Government project-"Setu Bharatam" -Logo design and Tagline. It covers all aspects of the project as: -Center circle ensures railway crossing less National highways through RoBs/RuBs. -Railway crossings depict nation-wide coverage. -Although the project targets preventing lives by preventing frequent accidents, my perception says, it will ultimately also help in nation's growth. As the tagline says, seamless travel ensures seamless growth of nation in a bigger perspective.

This logo describes best"Setu Bharatam". In this logo I tried to compile modern computer logo Procedurse as well as true Indian spirit.

The logo is representation of human chain as the Setu Bharatam is for human safety.The Human Chain Form a bridge which is a symbolic representation of Setu. The Colour is Indian Tricolour with Orange,Blue,Green.The gap between the two Men's is the space for national Railway crossing and National Highways more that two tunnel is shown as railway has many roots.
