Dear Sir, Please dont reduce the petrol and diesel price for few weeks. Use the income to change the street light with LED lights. Or give one LED light for free when a person makes a fuel purchase of 300 Rs (100 rs for 3 times etc )

Increasing the Awareness is the best step.Govt can also restrict the amount of power used by each office, street area, offices so that the everyone would strive to be in the specified limit by using LED.

If Govt plan to give LED bulb for free/subsidised charges by taking back the CFL/bulbs, we can become self sufficient in our energy needs. This was done by Kerala govt, but failed as the people who brought CFL have not replaced it once it failed, but if it would have LED bulbs it would have lasted longer...LED bulb have 25 years of life.

We can also replace our OLD CRT Bulky TV sets with LED TV's which can save the power upto 60%, where CRT TV's use about 100W of Power, whereas LED TV's usage will be maximum 40 Watts.

If we all plan to replace our Traditional bulbs/CFL with LED, we can save energy upto 85%. For example a 100W(15 Rs/1 year of life) bulb can be replaced with a 15W LED bulb(around 250 Rs, 25 years of life), we can help the govt so save energy and therefore save our planet at the large. There won't be power cuts.

Government/Semi Govt / PSU must and should adopt and buy only 5 Star Rated Products LED Lights, Electrical & Electronic Equipments Majority of the manufacturers business comes from Govt. They will try to push Energy Efficient Products and latest quality products. Once quality products are in place, price automatically drops because of volume.

I have idea on use of renewable energy where public and government can become partners 1 any Indian citizens can invest in this project where solar energy power plant can be installed 2 once the project is completed the profit generated by power station can be distributed to public investor. By this way energy criss in India can be reduced 3 this project can have good impact on our economy, create jobs and good investment for public This is simple model which can be developed into plan
