Can the LED assemblies be made as a TOY assembly kit, to make it a fun to assemble at home and install. This will make it interesting for children and easy to popularise.

water harvesting should be compulsory to every home. Every new house is going to build needs to create a water harvesting system otherwise the construction will become Invalid... this is how we can control the water level, otherwise people will definitely destroy the EARTH ESPECIALLY we INDIANS

All replacements of fused light fixtures should be replaced with LED ones. Besides all street lights must have devices that respond to day light. The current manual system allows too much of waste. LED's must also be brought into the MII( Make In India) and will be easily successful and profitable.

Rreduce tax on LED , CFL bulbs which are less than 150 rs. And increase tax thrice on normal bulbs.... Normal bulbs and local CFL, LED both do not have warranty..... 15 w local CFL cost 38 rs. and 100 w normal bulb cost is 18 rs..... But by changes in tax both rates will be much closer

This is the generation of LED. Inspired by Hon' PM, I have assembled 5730 LED chip& using in home. 2x56 nos+1x14 Nos total 23 W gives equal light of 50W tube light. Total cost@INR 200. LED save huge power, save carbon emission, save nature. This saved power can be delivered where no electricity still reached/avoid load shedding. Change our mentality, think about nature, open our eyes, try to see power saving India, save our nature. This is the time to change, otherwise we will be like dinosaur.

The profile picture of this discussion must be changed as it shows changing Incandescent bulb (yellow bulb) for CFL. Thus it does not go with topic of Discussion. Here are some reasons to use LED 1) It consumes less energy (60W bulb = 13 W CFL = 6 W LED) 2) less heat is generated (90% in bulb,80% in CFL, 75% in LED) 3) Most importantly it lasts long (750-2000 hrs bulb, 7500-20000 hrs CFL, 35000 - 50000 hrs LED) But on other side its price must be made economical so everyone can afford it

For small scale industries and offices (employees less than 100), if LED lights bill worth Rs.10,000 or more is shown then the tax exemption should be given. Similarly tax benefit for large offices should be given if the LED lights are procured with bill of more than 1 lakh rupees. Thanks

Going towards LED lights is really a good move. But the summer is the very good time to incorporate Solar lighting system.According to my knowledge, one can easily build a solar light and small workshops in television will be helpful for that.As corporate companies can afford much of the things,by converting 50% of the office lighting system into solar, each office can easily save 30% of total energy.Incorporating an additional solar lighting with the current electric lights increase flexibility.
