Round-3 of the Smart City Challenge. Allahabad Nagar Nigam invites ideas, suggestions and comments to make Allahabad a “Smart City”.

AllahabadMunicipal Corporation (AMC) propose to re-engage with citizens and community groups (including prominent citizens, students, women’s groups, industries, NGOs) to understand key pain-points and reassess the aspirations and expectations from a Smart City for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

AMC seeks to obtain feedback on the revised smart solutions for defining the vision, goals, Area-based and Pan City initiatives. The citizen engagement would lead to a meaningful envisioning exercise and identify the priority areas of physical, social, economic and institutional infrastructure.

As Allahabad is a holy city and the backbone of the city is its river, banks should be neat and clean, for that NGOs participation should be encouraged. connectivity in terms of cleaner transportation, electricity supply should be improvised, mobile data, IT parks, rain water harvesting, street diversification, greenery , canals, flyovers ,road and railway overpasses,establishment of new forest areas, more flats than individual houses, pedestrian pathways and solar panels, parks, etc.

Traffic system needs to be implemented very strictly and I think it would be better if the three wheeler autos (called Vikram) in Allahabad are fined heavily for everytime they break rules and rash drive with over load. They have become a mayhem for our city's transport as by and large they are unchecked. Traffic lights need to be extended to more places. Also strict penalties should be imposed on violators without giving them chance to call their "sources" and get away with the law.

I think govt should completely ban liquor and tobacco products and various other illicit drugs.... Foremost thing we should completely ban Crackers irrespective of the occasion they could be used . .. because for u all people sitting above there it might not affect your lungs that much but health costs more than your meagre incomparable compensation after death .. There is not an even single Social,economical(Use and after use effects as total ) , Religious physical , mental,sexual profits.

Railway over Bridge is must at Rambagh Railway Crossing and IERT Railway Crossing. Clean and Green Transportation Service required. The Transriver areas like Phapamau, Jhunsi and Naini to be provided better transportation links and Security. An Airport with Daily Connectivity with Mumbai and Delhi will certainly benefit.

First Remove basic problems like All the dust blowing around Allahabad choking everyone and removing age old Jam at Rambagh Railway crossing, then think about making Allahabad a Smart City.

i live in Allahabad so i know this city very well. Infrastructure is not well developed in this city, like road ,sewage. wastes decomposition facility and one of the biggest problem is dust which comes from incomplete left construction work. people are not getting pure water to drink.

Improvement in the digital network in goverment office and in the poloce station and proper transport facilities like Ac buses through the city and electric buses.Improvement in solar power has it has a lot og heat during summer seasons and we must consider the opportunity and construct the solar panels in waste lands. Wifi must be setuped in public places and initiative of Swatch Bharat Mission and every areas must be provided dust bins and promoting Swatch Bharat in public areas

Ganga river must be cleaned and there must be proper steps taken and due to that health problem arises like dengue malaria jaundice because of the wastage released by the ganga river the main prority must be given to clean river ganga And next is that road must be properly built and due to which the many tourists are not coming to allahabad due to non proper roads in national highways and which is why the allahabad is not the proper destinations to the tourists to visit

Firstly allahabad has been a tourist city to the many of the people but people donot travel there instead of they go to varnasi this is because there are lot of problems faced by the allahabad people.So first we need to give main intention to tourism.Tourism must be developed so that many people visit the city and for that road should be properly biult and construct "Unfortunately, this place has not been able to develop as per the requirement of international market.

Main development of Allahabad is must be consider these points- 1.Clean River Ganga 2.Proper managment of Infrastructure 3.All department in city must be digitalized 4.Teach people how to use safee and proper net surffing 5.proper availability of transport,parking,law and order
