For the draft Lucknow Smart City Proposal the citizen feedbacks received were analysed and based on which a citizen centric plan was formulated. As part of citizen engagement & consultation process, Lucknow Municipal Corporation arranged a wide range of activities in different platforms to enable contribution of citizens- eg: zone wise consultation, essay competition, vision statement competition, twitter, facebook, online google forms, MyGov. Polls and discussion etc. based on the suggestions received vision, goals and the projects were identified.

All Public Utility Services must be rationalized according to the ratio of population e.g. due to lack of strong network of city buses commuters are compelled to travel through so called auto which is not safe for commuters as well as environment.

Still there are lack of Street Lights in various parts of the city.All street lights should be replaced with LED lights.

Fairly large population are migrating day by day towards cities like Lucknow due to lack of Employment/livelihood in rural areas/backward districts of U.P. These migrants should be provided rental house on a very nominal rent on the part of Government to avoid the creation of slums/encroachments in the city.

1. Provide affordable accommodation for all citizen of the city. 2. Drainage system should be developed and well maintained in all the colonies in the city. 3 Needed to provide piped safe drinking water in the city. 4 Spitting in public place should be banned with strict punishment. 5 All the road should be one way with separate pedestrian way. 6 sincere effort should be made to augment public transport system in the city along with decongest of crowded public place such as railway station.
