Today law and order is the only reason which is detrimental to girl's education and life. Even in rural area parents are willing to send their daughter to school even if it is far from home; they also want to give her Higher Education. The way cases of assaults and abduction of girls has increased and governments has not only failed but often involved in such incidents, even families of the victims are attacked if they protest. therefore a law inline with “Sati-Act" or "POTA' is necessitated.

आज के परिपेक्ष में मात्र एक कारण है जो बालिकाओं की शिक्षा और जीवन के लिए घातक है। वह है कानून व्यवस्था। आज माता-पिता अपनी पुत्री को विध्यालय भेजना चाहते हैं चाहे वो दूर ही क्यों न हो और उसे उच्चशिक्षा भी देना चाहते हैं। किन्तु बालिकाओं के साथ दुराचार बढ़ ही रहा है तथा छेड़छाड़ का विरोध करने पर उनके परिवारों पर भी हमले हो रहे हैं और जिन्हें सरकार रोकने में पूरी तरह अक्षम ही नहीं इन अपराधों में सम्मिलित भी हैं । अतः "सती-दहन उन्मूलन", "पोटा" और "रासूका" की तर्ज पर महिला सुरक्षा कानून अति आवश्यक है।
