Discussion in Round 3 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge, as part of the process, Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation is organizing a Discussion Forum on “Draft Smart City Proposal” prepared taking into account citizens priorities and aspirations for Bhagalpur city.

In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Bhagalpur a Smart City. The citizen feedback received at various stages of this competition have been carefully analysed to articulate the vision, goals and now the projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

CCC and ITMS are interesting propositions keeping pace with ICT's growth as on date. These futuristic solutions are well thought out and presented clearly. Kudos to the team!

Strengths: Holistic, all-feature-inclusive draft, simple to read, ample facts and figures Weakness: Environmental impact and estimated cost incurred missing details. Opportunities: Incentive and competitive nature of process has brought out plausible report. Threats:Lack of constructive feedback and redtapism may lead to substandard implementation

सीवेज निकासी—यह एक महत्वपूर्ण काम हैं जिसमे कोई कॉम्प्रोमाइज़ नहीं होना चाहिए, देखने मैं यह आता है की सीवेज का काम सही न होने से रोड्स पर गंदा पानी हमेशा बेहता रेहता है । इसका एक कारण यह है की जब सीवेज का काम किया जाता है तो सिर्फ 3 या 4 फिट गहरा रोड खोदा जाता है ओर फिर पतले पतले पाइप डाले जाते हैं जिससे की सीवेज जल्दी जल्दी चोक होता है ओर पानी बाहर रोड पर बेहता है। प्लीज इस पर बहुत ध्यान दिया जाए।

अतिक्रमण एक बहुत बड़ी समस्या है , सभी घरो तथा दुकानों ने सार्वजनिक सड़कों पर अतिक्रमण कर रखा है , जिसे तुरंत मुक्त करवाया जाय , अतिक्रमण के चलते शहर एक दम बदरंग एवम जाम से जूझता रहता है

सडक सुरक्षा सप्‍ताह के दौरान पूरे जिले में कठोर से कठोर यातायात के नियम लगाये जाये और इस एक सप्‍ताह को पाइलट प्रोजेक्‍ट के रूप में लिया जावे ताकि लोगों को स्‍मार्ट सिटी की झलक मिल सके ा इसके लिए आवश्‍यक प्रचार प्रसार किया जावे

there should be a dust bin in all public place and it should also be complusry to put on all fast food corner it will help to clean

In 2 components of Traffic and Transportation Management, a bit strange that there was nothing mention about avoiding school kids to use petrol powered vehicles !!!!
