The Pasighat Municipal Council is conducting a MyGov Discussion Forum for its “Draft Smart City Proposal”. The proposal has been prepared taking into account citizens priorities and aspirations as part of the Round 2 of the "Smart City Challenge”.

In the past few months we all have worked hard towards making Pasighat a Smart and a credible city. The citizen feedback received at various stages of this competition have been carefully analysed to articulate the vision, goals and how the projects proposed in the Smart City Proposalis going toimprove the life of its residents.

The Citizen Interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed in developing this Smart City Proposal. The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

Give your valuable feedback and suggestions to help in refining and finalizing the proposal.

in the draft the percent of tourism is very less but in voting page the percentage of tourism is more than that. so please see the original page and make the draft. thanks

Pasighat as a smart city, from now pasighat will be recognized as a smart city. A smart city should be clean and beautiful. As we know that in other city there are many multi-story buildings, roars, shopping mauls etc. we can add all this into our pasighat.

Since population of the city should be counted and recorded. The smart city mission requires people who activity participate in governance and reforms, these people involves themselves in the definition of smart city since smart city is taking compact area approach it is necessary that all the city residents feel there is something in it for them also.

The road of paighat is also in bad conditions. The road is damaged in every foot step. The road of pasighat should be well constructed and well planned. The road should be connected with the highways or converted into highways. Than our pasighat will the highways or converted into a smart city. Government of pasighat should spend.

We should look seriously into this matter and also improvement it developed the districts also pasighat government should take an early measure to address this serious problem.

entertainment mays always be there in a city. there should be big malls which provide us everything and may fair like atmosphere is prevalent all the time at a main market area especially.

I appreciate the proposed Multi-utility rain shelter to be used as shelter for homeless at night and in day time as open market. It may be suitable for marketing of non perishable items. But for perishable items especially of local products, it will need separate place. May also identify place for marketing perishable items in final proposal.

In RETROFITTING (safety & security): The following may also be included- (1) Separate women police station which should be manned by women police only. (2) High mast tower in all sensitive areas (3) posting of more police personnel (4) Intensify night patrolling (5) Use of modern technology to record over speeding vehicle & to penalized with deterrent penalty.

Under SWOT Analysis (Strength): word ‘Tourism ‘should be specified. Eco tourism, mountain trekking of virgin forest, rural tourism and cultural tourism has vast potentials in Pasighat.
