Dear Citizens of Meerut,

As you are aware Meerut is participating in Smart city challenge Round III and is a strong contender. In all three rounds of Smart City Proposal preparation, Meerut Municipal Corporation has conducted extensive citizen engagement for (i) Understanding issues and aspirations of the citizens (ii) To decide vision goals and strategic direction for the city, (iii) To finalize Pan City and ABD initiatives. Post citizen engagement the city has identified “Vision & Goals” and “ABD & Pan City initiatives”.

The final draft proposal prepared for Meerut is placed in the public domain for citizen’s inputs. For a better understanding, a presentation of the Smart City Proposal explaining the vision, pan-city proposal and area based development has been shared at the link given below. Please provide your suggestions and feedback.

Smart city should have smart building, Complex & smart infrastructures. The energy should be provided form geothermal power from which is renewal energy from earth. All the flats should be connected with optic fiber & with internet connection & should be interlinked with each flat with video door camera. Waste should be collected by underground gas system. The Smart city should have Parking Tower it should be constructed by using new technology it will resolve the parking problem for city, Junctions. Even it can have Car Wash System and Maintenance Department for Cars. The Government can make a Floating Hotel in Lake for Tourist and Local Citizen. Floating Hotel will be attraction for Tourist and will boost Tourism. The hotel should have Green house technology and should be solar powered. The tourist can reach using LPG operated Motor Boat. Even Floating Fountain can be installed in Lake and can be illuminated with colourful light the lake should be surrounded by compound and can be decorated with LED lights and can have jogging track.

The Smart city should have smart connection. Smarty city should be connected to daily commuters, Tourist, Railways, Public safety authorities, shipping ports, Airport, Freight carriers and to government dept. If all this get connected it will make the city more safer, efficient and more mobile world. With leading technology you will connect the machine. मेरठ में अपराध कण्ट्रोल, ट्रैफिक जाम, साफ़ सफाई, बेहतर शिक्षा एवं चिकित्सा व्यवस्था, सड़क बिजली और शुद्ध पानी और सबसे जयादा जरूरत है यहाँ पर उद्योग को बढ़ावा देना ताकि यहाँ की लोग नौकरी के लिए मेरठ को ही उपयूक्त माने और बहार के राह ने पकड़ें | बढ़ते अपराध की वजह से अब मेरठ में कोई भी उद्योग नहीं बचा है इसलिए मेरठ की छवि को और बेहतर करने की जरूरत है बेटियों की सुरक्षा एहम मुद्दा है | सब शहरवासियों को जोड़कर उनका योगदान लेकर शहर का विकास किया जाए|प्रशासन को चाहिए अच्छी सोच के लोगों का साथ लें |

मेरठ मे IT पार्क hona chahiye jisse मेरठ, मुरादनगर, सहारनपुर, बागपत, हपूड, मुजफ्फरनगर, शामली, बड़ै।ट, के लोगो को दिल्ली, नोएडा जेन की ज़RURAT NAHI और इससे NH58 का लोड भी कम होगा क्योंकि मेरठ एजुकेशन हब है और यहाँ से ज्यादा लोग देल्ही नॉएडा गुडगाँव नोकरी करते है और उपदोन गर से करते है
