Most of the health insurance policies do not reimburse cost towards preventive health care. Preventive health care cost for diagnostic tests are increasing so also the cost of hospitalisation because of insurance. Insurance companies will benefit over long run by allowing some part of the premium towards preventive health care by preventing hospitalisation.

Malnutrition and obesity among children is a serious challenge if not effectively tackled we will have nation of sick people.Like in the US we must have national preventive heath care guidelines for all age groups. They should be recommendatory and given wide publicity.Nutrition during puberty and growing years for children should be focus of any policy.

We need to learn tremendously from organisations like Arvind eye care centers. People from around the world are coming to them to learn from India and we ourselves are not learning anything from them. The management they have is something to learn from. Can we not work on some pilot projects like that ? Where people can get affordable health services and through that revenue we provide services to poor

Hi Sir,I have one suggestion for making BLIND FREE INDIA in 2015.As some message/info says: there are total blind people in our nation:682497,but death count per day is 62389.If daily death people provide their eyes, within 11 days all blinds will be able to see. Please consider this suggestion and make our nation is BLIND FREE NATION.You can call this event as "THAMOSAMA JYOTHIRGAMAYA".For this event, please pass bill to all the hospitals to save the eyes and donate to blind people.
