The healthcare staff shortage in the rural areas needs to be attended to. Majority of Govt. hospitals and Govt. medical colleges are understaffed. This severely compromises the quality of healthcare. Even many tertiary level Govt. hospitals are having vacancies in critical super-specialities like Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic, Vascular surgery etc. This leads to a loss of a lot of lives which otherwise could be saved.

Standered of medicine settled in india require to reset as the quality was compramising. current senario was doubtfull regarding quality. The ratio of quality and cost was totally unbalanced and uncontrolled. private sector is on wrong way as it deal with health of citizen. parameter for mfg should be set as "WHO" approved plant and testing of material by gov of each batch IN CROSS CHECK. i can drop the prices of medicine upto 70 per cent with improved quality give me a chance which change the senario of indian health

Sir, obesity, life style & metabolic disorders are increasing across all strata of population, rural & urban. It is time we reduce the intake of excess salt, sugar, deep fried food, food additives, coloring agents et al which make one prone to gastro-intestinal & metabolic disorders. The sale of packaged food, most of which have more than our need of salt / sugar per day should be regulated. Health information should be displayed clearly in all packs. Additives / food colors should be banned.

Garbage management and recycling: Every state should have an Institution setup and tasked with the responsibility of Garbage management and recycling with the mandate to operate as a profit centre. They are welcome to achieve this mandate either organically or by outsourcing this mandate through competitive bidding to private companies. There are several proven MNC that are capable of operating garbage mgmt and recycling collections and operations at zero cost to citizens.
