A Committee on Net Neutrality has submitted its report to the Department of Telecommunications. Its recommendations broadly contain technical, regulatory and public policy related measures required with respect to Net Neutrality issue.

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is also currently engaged in consultation process on the issue whose recommendations are awaited.

It is emphasized that the views expressed in the report are that of the Committee and not of the Government. Your valuable comments, wide scale consultations, as also the report of the TRAI will help the Government to take appropriate decision on the issue.

i completely support net neutrality. everyone should be able to access everything on the internet equally.also i strongly reject the definition of it given by the telecom operators.

I support net neutrality but I am against the plan designed by telecom companies. Alreary telecom companies are charging enough for 3G and 2G services. No need of licensing of apps like whatsapp and viber. I want everyone should be able to access internet free of cost. #NetNeutrality

All data on the should be treated equally, all websites should be accessible , we dont want any licensing per application. Also - this new so called definition of netneutrality will stop progress and innovation in the country if implemented ever. India has great brain power and we want it to grow with time - which also implies getting access to everything on the internet. Internet can be calculated in form of GB / MB , but anything more is an outrage.

Mr. Prime Minister, Please Stand by your view of One India and here everyone supports Net Neutrality, We all want FREE Internet (anything, anywhere and anytime). Companies are exploiting the people of India by making fool of them and showing wrong world. Initially they give services free/lower charge and then with time they increase the tariff and exploitation. Data is a new big thing for these telecom companies and they want to encash it at any cost no matter what. Our voice should be heard

Net Neutrality should not be defined by telecom companies or websites. We should not give authority to telecom companies to control what we access on the Internet and they CAN'T charge us money for accessing certain sites/apps on the Internet. we should be able to access anything, at any time, without having to pay more for it separately. I DON'T WANT licensing for any apps we are using. Access to ALL content on the internet should be accessible to every Indian citizen #NetNeutrality

I completely support net neutrality and do not support the design of telecom companies. I am against licennsing of apps like whatsapp and viber and I want that everyone should be able to access internet anytime anywhere free of cost and categories.
