Discussion in Round 2 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge, as part of the process, Haldia Municipality is organizing a Discussion Forum where prominent citizens will take up the Pan-city smart solutions and Area Based Development issue suggested by the citizen through Comment for discussion. Citizens may post their Smart Solutions, Addition and Alteration on Draft Proposal. Please participate in discussion online by login to MyGov.

Need Clean City.. Green City.. Hygienic City... Fruit City.. Smart City.. Pan City.. We hope that we achieve the target. Thanks to our Chairman for his dedication,devotion and very hard labour to achieve Haldia as a Pan City.

Please include a mega logistic hub for heavy Vehicles coming to Haldia Port and other Industries at the time of making final Smart City Plan.

Draft proposal omits any scheme for enhancements of Green Belt area for ecological balance in Haldia, a chemical based industrial city.

Haldia is a pollution prone city due to existence of a number of chemical Industries. So priority be given on disaster management so that no Bhopal incident occur at Haldia.
