Its duty of every individual to follow traffic rules and lane discipline. All who have cars and all who are using auto or taxi are all educated people. Those who own cars should follow all traffic rules and those who are using public transport like auto and taxi should force drivers to follow rules. Sitting silent wont help. If people are getting late to their office or home then people themself are responsible for the delay. Dont blame government for this. Government can't teach descipline.

I believe main reasons for Traffic is, public indisciplineness (not following traffic rules), roads are not good, less traffic signals and less traffic police. We should learn to follow traffic rules, lane descipline. Government should advertise more on this. Government should correct roads. Fill any potholes. Roads should not be digged at any times by both public and government authorities. Install traffic signals at every junctions. Traffic police should be active all the times near signals.

There should be a system of pool bus. This system should be started by government so as to provide common bus facility to a society or locality which is having maximum numbers of employees or workers of a particular working area or a particular large scale industry. The fare of buses should be lower than the per day expense of transportation of a person. The buses should follow a separate route other than busy routes to save time and be efficient. This will reduce the need of personal vehicles.

I have not visted dadar & nagar haveli. 1. Free tourist buses run by govt. of india will help toursits and prevent heavy vehicles if size of city is less. 2. Metro or mono rail concept for transportation to tourist spots. 3. more battery operated vehicles. 4. Separate outer ring road in flyover model to help transfer of lorrries contents in outer godowns and leave outside instead of entering the cities. mygov.in doesnt have reach since the mobile app is not ready for android, windows and iphone

My ideas: 1.Creating awareness among citizens to your public transport. 2.Like in tirupathi, creating a themed buses that signifies the UT's cultural heritage can attract many public in public transport. 3.Creating a well connected and reduced time travel in bus can also attract many public in public transport. We cannot say people to stop using their own cars but attract them by our planned service keeping in mind the demand of public will be helpful. thankyou, srinivasa rao s.

I am working in a SEZ area, where most of employee having their own car. And I see in a four seat Car single person is coming. And the car is consuming too much space in road traffic. Few suggestions here .. 1) Please use public transport as much as possible 2) Government should promote and avail public transport area of heavy traffic. Like SEZs, popular market etc. 3) People can also do car pooling with colleagues. 4) Prefer Two wheeler in place of car. Thanks Jitendra
