Dadra & Nagar Haveli is well connected by road and Rail with rest of the country. The NH-8 provides the major road connectivity to the study area. With rapid Urbanization and industrial growth in Dadra & Nagar Haveli UT, the population and vehicles have increased rapidly in the recent past years. Heavy vehicular traffic poses life threatening problem to patients in ambulance, so public should be made aware regularly to give way to ambulance first. Moreover at present there is no Act/regulation for compulsion of life saving medical systems and trained staff in ambulance, which lead to deterioration of patient's condition and innocent attendants remain unaware of facilities available in ambulance due to lack of any law

We need to implement strict rules for commuters who use SUV'S for single occupancy and also public transport should have better connectivity with comfort for commuters to travel at affordable prices and these transport facilities should be maintained. Imposing fine on commuters who use large vehicles with single occupancy would help reduce occupying road space to a great extent. I see a lot of ppl in Bangalore who use SUV's for city use and are travelling alone or max 2 ppl. Old buses shd b rmvd

Many cities have experienced growth in traffic as economy grows and more and more vehicles hit the roads every day. For traffic which is bypassing the city, the best solution is to divert by a dedicated corridor which may be in the form of a flyover or an underground tunnel. To manage in-city traffic, pedestrian over-bridges must be provided along with dedicated pathways for pedestrians, cyclists & buses. Also address specific crowded links such as city to airport traffic via mass transport.

It depends on the width of road. Is there space on both sides of the road to further widen it. If not then how 6 lane provision could be made. Only way is the demarcate lanes for scooter, car, bi-cycle and bus and no overtaking should be allowed.Trucks should not be permitted to ply during peak hours. After peak hours rush is over then allow trucks.Besides like in Delhi could be alternative for scooters and cycle riders. It is not easy to provide an instant solution unless one study the area

Build a 6-lane access controlled Expressway as a Ring road. So that all the Heavy trucks bypass the city centre. Do not build any flyover within the city, which will destroy the beauty of the city. If any heavy traffic needs to be accommodated then an underground 6-lane road may be the option, to save the beauty of the city.

Underground metro rail along with Bus Rapid System needs to be introduced. Introduce Integrated Public transport system, like in European cities. Suburban railway, Long distance railway, BRTS, Metro train should be integrated. People should be able to see in the LED display board the next available transport option as in European cities. Like Bus stop will show the next bus timing and the place it goes, so that uncertainty regarding the usage of public transport goes off.
