Read about your advice to the top officials to visit their first place of posting-most likely it will be a Taluk HQ. I am sure their visit will be an eye opener for them. They’ll realise that while they were going up the ladder, a vast portion of India was caught in a time warp-notwithstanding the green revolution, ubiquitous mobile and TV disc even in remote areas. Nothing much has changed as regards availability of basic things - clean drinking water, education, health facilities, electricity

Politicians have thrived for 67 years by keeping majority of us poor and ignorant-they have always told us - you are poor and useless –so vote us in and we will take care of you by throwing some crumbs at you to keep you alive. First time, we have a politician who asks us to realize our strength, stand on our feet and be vigilant. Thank U, Dear Prime Minister for waking us up. Changing mindset is going to be a long & arduous battle but it’s worth the effort. We all are with YOU.

Sir, I believe processing the excess in a timely manner can be a good alternative. There are different ways to process different items. we should encourage and subsidies should be provided for them . They should compete with the Cokes available in the market.

This requires a multi-step solution. First we need to map India according to consumption and production of various items. Then we need to create different solutions for different items - cold storage for some items and food processing (converting tomatoes and onions into puree form etc.) for others. We also need to design supply chains with the likes of cold storage trains and ships and eliminate taxes while the train crosses states or even nations (as verification by babus waste time).

Sir, hum dekh rhe h ki is field ko najarandaaz kiya jata h, hume is baare mein sirf sochna nhi h kuch krna h!!! Godowns se jb fruits & vegetables bechane k liye leke jate h tb over loaded sbjiya bhari jati h means unhe pta hota h ki aj itni sbjiyo ki jarurat nhi h phr b overloaded kr diya jata h. Dinbhr sbjiya bazar mein pdi rhti h aur raat ko wo sbji road pr fek di jati h..hum is chiz pe dhyan dena chahiye!! Bcoz isse hi gandgi, bimariya failti h!!

Post harvest losses can be reduced by adopting methods that can focus on moving fruits and vegetables to markets on fast pace. Proper storage should be ensured to keep them fresh as long as possible. The transport facilities must be focused for fruits and vegetables.
