One of the important endeavors of the present government has been to improve the 'Ease of Living'. In simple words, this means that the citizen-government interface, in matters of daily routine, must be made as seamless as possible and as citizen friendly as possible. Among other things, this has translated into reforming many rules and regulations and in an overwhelming number of cases completely doing away with such antediluvian rules which had not only outlived their utility, but in many cases were frankly anti-people. The mandate has been clear - between the citizens and the governments, the rules and processes must defer to ensuring the ease of living of citizens.

Consider for example the earlier rule of seeking gazetted officers attestation to validate one's documents before appearing in exams. That rule is now history. Trusting the citizens was the mandate and self-attestation is now the new rule. Or consider the move to scrap interviews for non-gazetted Group D, C and B government jobs. In one stroke the entire industry of 'recommendations' has been shut down and pure merit has become the norm.

What are other such outdated and ill-conceived rules, regulations or practices that hinder the normal day to day lived experience of the people? In day-to-day governance issues what are the processes or system that can be simplified or simply done away with? Which are processes that serve the exact opposite purpose they are intended to serve? Rules, regulations and laws that serve no useful social purpose but merely create unnecessary red tape and bureaucracy and therefore need to go?

MyGov invites citizens, members of civil society, journalists, students, teachers, police officers, government employees, Parliamentarians, academics experts, bureaucrats, social media influencers, Think Tanks and all other interested people to give their considered view on the subject.

Making & facilitating the working model for food items specially agriculture products connecting with warehouses interlinked across India in reach to Indian railways and local public to sell and avoid spoilage or wastage every year. Taking help of CRM system to balance the stock in warehouses across India and meeting the demand-supply by moving the food items via railways. Audit system must be strict and online. This would create more jobs and local market can register the demand at cheap rates.

Making it compulsory to all constructions for residential/ corporates/ government, etc to generate their own 10% or more electricity by renewable source of energy. Electricity bills must be charged high to those who do not have this energy generation model. Random strict charges to those who do not follow rules across India. This would help power cut issue; global warming; zero carbon generation, etc.

Govt can make Rupay card as universal card which can be used in any public or private transport system. Eg i travel in bus, then i just needs to swipe my card in gadget which conductor has and amt should be deducted. Same ways in railways counters, traffic challan etc. This will reduce cash transaction.

I would suggest Indian government to reduce the retirement in employment after 50 years rather for keeping it to 62 years. It would benefit creative youngster to get more job and service men/ women who get more time to live their live more peaceful and give more time to their family in sharing their experiences and care.

To fill up ITR3 for Income generated for offering service is too complicated. Eg when someone generates income form offering service and gets 5 lakhs in a yr, with no expenditure to show, then he should be allowed to fill ITR1. ITR3 is too complicated to fill by a layman. Why such person has to fill Balance sheet, when there is no asset or liability ?. Assessee should be just allowed to pay tax like a salaried people. Just in ITR1, in Income from other source, add a row like Income from Srevice

I am really happy with central govt.work. I also wish BJP to form govt in 2019. What I want to ask is, if BJP loksabha 2019 candidate is not proper or is of criminal background, then, should we still vote BJP candidate so as to form BJP govt. or think of other candidate?
