A huge amount of Govt. money is spent on subsidy of petroleum products. The Govt. had to spend Rs. 1,39,869 crore on account of subsidy on petroleum products in the year 2013-14. As, the indigenous availability of crude Oil and LPG is limited, these are imported in huge quantities to fulfill the demand of the country.  As Govt. provides domestic LPG and PDS Kerosene on subsidised price, this results in huge subsidy burden on Govt. Due to presence of dual pricing(subsidized and non-subsidized) in LPG and SKO, there is a diversion of subsidized LPG and Kerosene into commercial usage. Although Govt. has taken several initiatives to reduce this diversion of subsidized LPG and PDS Kerosene, public participation is solicited to suggest ways for reducing diversion in LPG and PDS Kerosene.

You are invited to suggest ideas to reduce diversion and the subsidy burden on account of LPG and Kerosene.

In principle, subsidies have to be at a low level of below 25% that too for a short period of time. In case of LPG, till we properly identify poor's/needy persons through Aadhar or so, subsidy be provided at a uniform diminishing rate to all domestic consumers. Commercial cylinders be differentiated in size/colors/regulators.

Induction cooker is the alternator of LPG cooking gas. Induction cooker is run with the help of electricity. If we install solar panel on each & every house, specially in rular area, ( we can get more electric energy than required for one home for cooking & other uses ). From these, we can save LPG, finiance burdon on government as subcidy, heavy & costly transport & storage system.

Dear Modiji Modiji I think u should encourage people to use cycle one day every week and not to use any petroleum vehicle that particular day.Secondly sir u can request people to do fast one day a week so that demand for Lpg Can be reduced and prices can be controlled. This also help our government to control prices of essential grains. Modiji if any one can do this its only you because we trust u alot. We all know whatever u wil do is in the favour of Maa Bhartiiii... BHARAT MATA KI JAI

Make color, size, shape regulators / connectors of LPG cylinders different for commercial & subsidized LPG cylinders or as per their usage ( ie commercial & domestic). This may help a bit in checking the cross over of cylinders ( domestic cylinders to commercial usage. )

there is no and will not be shortage for petroleum products in future as there is abundance of petrol available in this world though most of it is in gulf countries and these countries have a group of 12 members known as OPEC. so opec decides the rate and telling the world that petrol availability is getting low ,this is just to control the rates of products ..simple demand and supply theory, India should support the case against OPEC as it ll help in reducing prices as OPEC is the only corrupt

I have no problem to give up the subsidy in LPG. Today I want to surrender my subsidy on LPG cylinder , but problem is there are so many challenges to get one cylinder from any govt LPG distributor. If Govt will allow some private vendor to distribute the cylinder to consumer than there would be more competition and consumer can get LPG cylinder easily. So I am requesting to My Govt please introduce some private vendors who can provide better services / delivery to end consumers.

India should prepare strategy, so international crude oil price must decline. This will give benefits to india.I have written one lyric in hindi and english which will motivate peoples of whole world to reduce fuel use. This way crude oil price will also decline in international market when fuel consumption will decline. India will get benefits. Govt. must consider my new ideas. I am open for detail discussion.
