Using LPG cylinders for running a car is dangerous; there have been numerous lethal explosions in the country. Ban the use of LPG cylinders for cars – domestic or commercial – all over India with a penalty of Rs.10,000 and confiscation of the cylinder. Only factory fitted LPG cars must be allowed to ply on the roads. Extra employees of the petroleum marketing companies can carry out the monitoring.

Any commercial establishment like restaurants, hotels, etc. found using domestic cylinders should be fined Rs.10,000 per cylinder found, cylinders confiscated and the dealer involved in this illegal supply should also be fined Rs.10,000 per cylinder diverted. Extra employees of the petroleum marketing companies can carry out the monitoring.

All second domestic connections in the same households and multiple connections in the name of family members at the same address can be withdrawn. Those are the ones which mostly keep getting diverted for various other purposes.

Subsidised cylinders should be made available only to those consumers who have registered their bank account details with the dealer, so that the subsidy amount can be directly transferred to their bank account. No bank account, No subsidy.

5. Reduce the size of the cylinder to half. If the size is small it becomes inconvenient to use for other purposes and diversion stops. Psychologically consumers will use less gas if the cylinder size is small.

This idea will TOTALLY STOP DIVERSION OF DOMESTIC LPG CYLINDERS. It is a patented idea developed after 3 years of research. Proposing a small low cost device to be fitted inside the domestic cylinder. This device will allow the LPG cylinder to work ONLY in domestic kitchens and will not allow its use in any other application such as restaurants, vehicles etc. Fitted one time, no compromise on safety, no disturbance in filling plant, no maintenance, no battery. Robust long life design. tested.

Automobile industry should focus on research and development of cars that run on hydrogen cell based-fuel for the country to escape its dependence on crude oil.
The US has huge amounts of oil. The oil companies there have also developed huge infrastructure in this sector. Therefore, they do not want other countries to develop alternatives such as hydrogen cell fuels
So Govt of India should fund research of alternative fuuels like solar or hydrogen or elecric cars...plans for 10 years
