Also as per points discussed in this forum, the method of LPG pipelines may be good. But it wud be cost effecting, hazardous, and an open weapon to anti social elements.

I would also suggest to give adequate sops to encourage Electric Cars as they don’t relay of Fossil Fuel and are environment friendly and shall save foreign exchange

sir, sometime too much thinking and applying measures leads to more investment than savings. My simple way is just increase the prices of LPG cylinders successively for each cylinder in a year. Like as in electricity bill. For 4 cylinders subsidised rate and increase the rate with successive ones by Rs 100-500.

The Problems in Petroleum Sector can be resolved to a large extend if we tap the right technology. My Suggestion as follows.
1) We should look for towards CNG as the Fuel for future then crude oil. CNG can be produced in India from sewage treatment plant as well as processing Bio-degradable garbage. The Processing of this forms Bio-Gas thus can be converted to CNG thus saving Foreign Exchange and making Clean India Program more economical.

kerosene being used as fuel in Auto and some rucks
Encrease pice of kerosene and allow rebate vis bank ac. credit via adhar card to deserving poor only
make illegal use of LPG and Kerosene as cognisable offence with minimum 1 year R.I. without appeal

To check diversion, the best way is to have gas pipeline and oil pipeline with domestic and commercial connections and with Aadhar-enabled regulator to allow usage.
alternatively, give incentives to those who use less of the subsidized oil or gas
thirdly,we can convert the present gas cylinder into smart-cylinder with GPS-enabled like IP addresses of computers to know where exactly it is being used
or we can programme gas cylinder with particular gas stove so that it works only with that stove

*10% + forex saving possible in crude oil import
* 1 lac crores saving if industry standards are made mandatory for loss prevention
* saved amount to be used for reliability of roads +
* advance system for non-compliance for traffic rule
* compliance to user manual of vehicles, machines
* design of equipment like vehicle max speed 60 kms/hr,
* design of cooking gas burners 1 to 2" max
* design&material of energy consuming equipment for 20 yrs life e;g; road, vehicles, domestic machines

I do not see any reason to provide subsidy to rich person. In my opinion all subsidy including PDS food should be stopped. It is only increasing corruption in society.Instead direct subsidy amount to be transferred to the account of the actual poor of the society.
