We have pradhaan mantri jaan dhaan yogna in place. We should try to link kerosene subsidy by linking to such bank accounts as started for LPG. At least in major consumption cities (ABC analysis) we can focus by linking to all dealers with central database for eligible families and credit to bank accounts.

LPG cylinder distribution by the Gas Agencies should be monitored by some Authority on regular basis. The variations in number of days taken for delivery after booking a cylinder should have a maximum limit. As now Gas Agencies are making it monoply & not clearing the booking even after 25 days.

Like Petrol and Disel subsidy component should be reduced in LPG and Kerosene and should be linked to bank account for direct Credit .as There are lot of Black Market in Kerosene where it is sold at very high prices.Like LPG all credit of subsidy should be transfered to bank accounts and no upfront subsidy should be provided so that black market guys will be turned away as they will not be able to acquire kerosene at the subsidized prices. This will help gov reduce subsidy burden also

This idea will TOTALLY STOP DIVERSION OF DOMESTIC LPG CYLINDERS. It is a patented idea developed after 3 years of research. Proposing a small low cost device to be fitted inside the domestic cylinder. This device will allow the LPG cylinder to work ONLY in domestic kitchens and will not allow its use in any other application such as restaurants, vehicles etc. Fitted one time, no compromise on safety, no disturbance in filling plant, no maintenance, no battery. Robust long life design. tested. >l

I fully agree with Sri Palaniswami's post of 22nd Dec 14. Gov. should seriously study the extensive use of gobar by installing thousands of biogas units that can generate organic fertilizer, cooking gas and electricity. This is cheaper as well as good for our nation which depends on rural production. Many nations like China, Korea and even Germany are doing well in bio gas. People will not sell their barren and old cow to slaughter houses as their cow dung generate income. Modiji, pl ponder.

Give more cylinders to private hotels to reduce the cost of prepared food. Enable this by diverting more funds to existing private organization with profitable contracts between participating entities.

Increase the price of household cylinders to encourage hotel industry and consumption. Nobody intentionally produces bad quality food. But, the regulations and land rents and inefficiencies have lead to bad pricing patterns and hence not so high quality.
