Another type of diversion happening. 2 kg LPG cylinder filled from domestic LPG. But they charge very high price. Why not 5 kg and 2 kg commercial LPG cylinder launch in market. I am open for detail discussion.

Reverse diversion is possible. Domestic consumers will purchase commercial rate LPG. This is also possible. Even subsidy based consumers will also purchase commercial rate LPG. this will stop diversion. New marketing strategy will deliver such results. I am open for detail discussion. Through lucky draw, discount coupon and other scheme govt. can recover subsidy.

TV9, a popular Kannada news channel in Karnataka exposed a bunch of fraudulent petrol bunks in a sting operation at Bangalore on Thursday, the 14th January, 2010. For the sting operation, a TV9 reporter went to various petrol bunks on a Hero Honda motorcycle and asked the petrol bunk attendants to fill fuel for Rs 300. Even as the petrol was being dispensed into the tank, it was routed through a pipe directly to a hidden plastic can located the the rear of the Hero Honda two wheeler.

Increasing imports of LPG is more viable than increasing production of refinery LPG. Increase investment in import infrastructure of LPG and promote private sector participation in a big way. Increase in LPG penetration will replace kerosene.

LPG: Increase the subsidised price by Rs 10 per month and like diesel, the arbitrage will be bridged in 2 years.
Meantime stop subsidised cylinder for income tax payers, most of the public sector & private sector employees.
KEROSENE: Though used by poor, most of people pay only market price due to diversion. Diverted to Srilanka, pakisthan bangladesh. Change the colour of kerosene to dark red or so to make it impossible to mix with diesel. Also try to increase by 50 paise per month.

Sir Subsidy on Kerosine needs to be abolished.Provide all these families a solar light instead.
Subsidy on LPG should be in the form of DBT. Please abolish the arbitrage created by two different prevailing prices /market price and subsidized prices.
You will never to control the diversion, that is plain economics. So please don't reduce market efficiency by creating two prices. Transfer subsidy directly to account. Let there be one rate in the market, then you can abolish huge army of inspecto

Subsidy to bank account leads too much trouble for village people.i am living village. I have discussed with lots of old genders. They said its very difficult for us.Becuse now we are paying 420 rupees per cylinder for home usage. If the new scheme implemented we have to pay around 900 rupees.keeping 900 rupees at the delivering time of cylinder is very difficult.I kindly request this govt to cancel the new scheme. If you consider this most of the people in village and even city also very happy.
