For family of four with 2 meals and 1 breakfast and couple tea 6 cylinders are enough. But additional cylinder then in their name by people who sell them to hotels and vehicles.many such people have 100 of gas cards.it can continue even after putting subcidy to bank account. Why not link number of cylinders to number of family members

Further to my previous post, I would like to suggest that Govt should hell bent on exploring non-conventional energy resources like solar power, etc which can be substitute for cooking Gas being use for heating geyser water. Wind energy can be explored.Govt should give loan to individuals with concessional interest rate to promote use of non-concessional energy. Can be forced in some cases i.e. to the real estate property dealers.

To reduce the subsidy burden to Govt exchequer, one must think "to whom subsidy is needed". Mostly those are below BPL to whom subsidy can be passed on. Other than those can afford to pay the charges being incurred by Govt to provide gas at their doorsteps.Gas supply can be decontrolled, as is the case with petrol, diesel.

Sir this is really a very serious problem i think subsidize cylinder is given to those who cant afford this and they are limited in no. aprox. 5 so that our nation develop faster we have to use other sources of energy such as biogas only govt. Cant do any thing every individual action make nation stronger so we have to ready fr toughest decision so that we can make a better future and no one able to violate these decision modi ji aage badoo hum aapke sath hai

The main problem is dependence on petroleum products and more on import of petroleum products from foreign countries which has to be curbed in order to be self dependent. For that new and newer petroleum reached spots within our country has to be identified and exploration to be done. Secondly solar energy has to be harnessed for lessening dependence on LPG. Iran gas pipe line project has to be scrapped. Till then present system should continue.

One of the most corrupt department is PDS. Make more check point in this dept and make proper public distribution system of ration. As per LPG is considered hotels use 14KG cylinder insted of 19KG with the help of distributor. And public feel the heat of shortage of cylinder.

Further to my previous post. I would like to add that although the suggested method will add to overheads but it will have two advantages. Firstly, the diversion of subsidy will be controlled. Secondly, all overheads will add to GDP being productive investments in logistics and packaging needs of the scheme. So, overall it would result in more bang for each rupee spent.

Main problem with cheap kerosene is mixing of subsidized kerosene with Petrol and Diesel to make huge profits. Subsidized kerosene be delivered in pre-packed barcoded containers. This will solve majority of problem. Pre-packed container delivery be outsourced to logistic companies who will deliver them on AADHAR addr. Payment will be made through RUPAY debit card to the delivery person based on biometric authentication. Merging of database on monthly basis will reveal any delivery discripencies
