SIR, I WANT TO PAY YOUR ATTENTION TOWARDS WATER CRISIS WHICH IS EQUALLY IN URBAN AND IN RURAL AREA. PLEASE BAN ON SUBMERSIBLE PUMP AND PROMOTE SAVE WATER MOVEMENT. IN RURAL AREAS FARMERS ARE PLANTING EUCALYPTUS WHICH CONSUME MORE WATER AND IS REASON FOR LOW WATER LEVEL. SO PLEASE TAKE THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY WITH THANKS

resp.sir the awareness of saving water should be created as fast as possible. a very large amount of water goes waste through the rivers. especially the small length rivers the water should be conserved. the each builder should be made compulsory for rain water harvesting while constructing the residential apartment or business complex. this scheme should be joint with sansad gram yojana!

Before Improving community participation in Watershed Management, the first thing which come to my mind is source of water and there is any waste water is coming into canals drain. From my observation I saw all the rain water is going along with waste water in urban areas, there should be a split in between collecting rain water system and waster water system then connecting the same to watershed at different locations. If we don't work on the first part the watershed alone wont work for envimnt

To increase the employment in INDIA , Gov. should make compulsory for every agency to keep qualified person in their shop/ organization/ offices in respective field. This encourages and valued to education among people. like electrical firm , motor garage , chemist have to be license holder or hire license person to run business .

Biggest enemy for 21st century is Plastic bags (non Biodegradable material ). this hinders the mission of clean India . Government should put ban on use of plastic bags and encourage jute bags .

Some random thoughts: If the govt of India decides to hike the airline and railway prices to 1-2% in order to compensate for the reduced the prices (and increase number of flights) between Kolkata and the different capital cities of NE Indian states, rapid development of NE region is a possibility. Govt needs to hire geographers in addition to engineers , economists and sociologists in the planning projects.
