Old military planes could be used to drop tree bombs. The seed bombs are formed to bury themselves in the soil of a deforested area at the same distance that one would want them to be if planting the trees by hand, their casing dissolves over time and they contain a measure of fertilizer and enough moisture to ensure that the tree takes root. Just take up a plane instead of having hundreds of people bent over a deforested area attempting to dig holes for saplings.

I suggest that we shall lay 6” pipe or 8” pipe to a depth of say 80 to 100 feet and lay every 100 meters on the sides of all roads. These pipes will have sieves on the sides and top so that only water is stored and increase the water table throughout the pipelength. This will reduce the waterlogging in the roads and water is stored in the same locality where the rain is poured. This can be done on a local bodies, public participation.

Sir correct if i am wrongI have noticed that during rainy season 50% of the rain water is either mixed with drainage water or drained to sea. We hardly store this natural resource. During rainy days our roads are damaged due to water logging. Due to shortfall on storing this water we have water problems in summer. Our water table has been drained in the last 20 years. We hardly get ground water till we dig 80-100 ft.We haven’t seen any efforts to increase water table

Some time a go there was 'Pani Adwa-Pani Jirwa' Initiative in Maharashtra, it needs to be revived and spread across India to increase ground water levels. Also waste water from households need to be put back in the ground using Waste-Water percolation technique, it is simple and cheap way to improve ground water levels in the area, we did it our backyard in Jalgaon,Maharashtra and in 3 years our dead bore well which was at 110 ft started yielding water and is still active.

Dear Sir, I think it is the high time to think about the "Save Water" campaign. I have seen that we Indians show very much lack of interest in this issue. Everyday we waste gallons of water but nobody cares. Everyday water levels are going down in our country. After few years it will be a very critical issue in India if we do not think about that right now. We should spread awareness about how we can save water.

Recent flood at Vizag noticed well in advance, appreciations for technicalities developed. But, it is unfortunate that continuous raining will give lots of water and it can be deposited /diverted with our intelligence to some other places (fox ex.gas pipe line passing through so many places). Disaster Management group should have to procure lengthy pvc sustainable pipes attachable lay upto non rainy area and, balloon type tanks fill water through diesel motors continuously & float.
