RIVER LINKING IS BEING MADE A SLOGAN WITHOUT LOOKING INTO PREPARATORY JOBS WHICH WILL INVOLVE R &R,DISTURBING AGRICULTURE AND LIFE PATTERNS OF THE COMMUNITY. IT IS IMPERATIVE TO STUDY PROPOSED LINKAGE BY SIMULATION STUDY NEERI NAGPUR &OTHERS. IT IS PREFERABLE TO WORK FOR WATER HARVESTING &WATER TABLE REGENERATING.IT IS BETTER TO HARVEST WATER IN NORMALLY DRY RIVERS AFTER RAINS BY CHECK DAMS WHICH WILL BUILD WATER TABLE WITH INCREASED CROPPING .

in our country every year flood comes in some states, people die most of the river water are directly dumping into sea. We have to make cannels and supply the water all over India. river water wastage should be stopped immediately. our farmers are still depending on rain for better production. its a 21st century and we are depended on rain???

there are many perennial rivers in India but there are some rivers which are not perennial and the non perennial rivers dry up quickly before they come to use so there must be some steps taken that the fresh water can come to use before they dry up.......

country need small water reservoir instead of big reservoir. every village should have water reservoir then only we can provide water to farmers and every villagers. need base and geographical base planning is must for effective water management adding into this water reservoir should have the facility to land small aeroplanes so water reservoir so country need not spend extra money to build extra airport and runways.

These MGNREGA People can be utilised for planting trees in dry lakes and bare lands of the villages where ever possible instead of they are sitting simply and getting the tax money.
