1.State & central universities should follow the same syllabus. 2.A teacher's training institutions should be opened,in which teachers of state universities should be trained under the guidance of central teachers & professors. 3.A BENCHMARK should be created for all universities, that it should achieve that mark before continuing with their current institutes. 4.For new universities & institutes (that are going to open in future) should be set a mark by the central universities.

This is one of the major reform that needs to be done , so that every indian is provided with an equal opportunity for higher technical education with affordability which is prime concern among majority of indias because of the fact that privatisation in education may have increased some standards but its not affordable to all. So improvements can be done by 1. Developing adequate infrastructure for students 2. Providing with quality education 3. Availability of the resources necessary

In fact the research scholars in my unversity and the status of my own fellowship are in sad state. We have not received funds for more than a year and if the funding agency releases also the university has a complicated procedure to release the funds at their own pace. we have been under debt to make ends meet and with all hardships we have to arrange funds in case we get selected in some interview..

I think this should be done in more seriously without corruption. Some of the state universities appoint people based on how much money they can give under the table rather than actual skill. There are universities which have staff who are unwilling to take classes and students are put to hardships by saying in higher education u are supposed to learn on your own and not be spoon fed. Difficult concepts which were explained to us by our teachers are not being transfered.

During 1985 principle asked me teach electricity to orphan hostel students. I agreed, warden cam & told me students are notorious & they are from 4th to 10th standard. I framed syllabus for them, few staff laughed at me, it was an opportunity to self test my skills. First 1 or 2 days students were making noise, then they took interest in learning, they were not having lamp in bath room, I trained them in institute, they did it in hostel. I worked with NGO to find out why electricity & electronics portions are not understood by village students of 8th, 9th & 10th. I took combined class for these students for 1 month & completed 3years portion. Students understood portion & took interest. During this time teachers never turned up to know how I am teaching. After coming to Bangalore I talked with few 10th students I found they have biharted hole thing, on asking question they omit every thing. This is not Technical/skill education.

I hope sex education is not necessary at any education leve. If it is taught he may leave regular studies & concentrates in sex & becomes master in illect activities. Students from 1st to 4th std. must take part in sports activity. teacher must identify his ability/ interest in specific sport. Preference must be given to individual games like athletics, gymnastics, yoga, badminton, table tennis etc. Chess can be additional (no physical activity). Weekly 3 hrs. must be towards drawing/craft/creative work/stitching/cooking/etc. Weekly debate must be conducted on subjects taught in class (improves vocabulary & boldness). Week student must be asked to read news.

10th student must be fluent in 3 languages including Hindi & English. They must know all states of India. Day today news Indian & world. Under go training in social work/home guard/ NCC. Physic chemistry mathematics must be taught considering agriculture, home garden, first aid, minor repair of house hold items safety precautions. Informing about unwanted developments taking place within friends circle, neighbors to other reliable friends, teachers, parents, police etc. Improves awareness.

7th std. student must be in apposition to read write & speak fluently in two languages ( including Hindi). They must read English & translate. They must know cash transaction for the month (milk, news paper, grocery, vegetable etc). This helps in understanding money value & its use. Application of physics, chemistry, food, health hygiene required in every house & society must be taught. Once in a week students must visit old age home, disabled schools, attend home guard training as social work.
