The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

Honorable Prime Minister Ji, As you know a large amount of tax evasion has been done through agricultural income. This can be avoided by imposing a special tax on agricultural Income of special category of persons i.e. big farmers. The amount of tax must be used exclusively for growth of agriculture like subsidy to small farmers, agricultural education etc. Please note that this is my personal suggestion and should not be taken otherwise. Thanks 4 all you done so far Regards, Sachin Jindal

Like other countries imposing fine on those who through waste or garbage on road which gives birth to flies and mosquitoes that later spread diseases. Setting up hitech hospitals in villages and giving more salaries to doctors so, that they could be attracted towards government hospitals. Mandating each doctor to practice for atleast one year in hospital in village.

Following to watching yesterday's TV show Satyamev Jayate, I feel that there is immediate need to add one more mandatory procedure for RNTCP program, which should include preliminary scanning of all the TB suspects with a test which can differentiate which variety of TB are they suffering from, so that they could be guided better and can be administered right medication of their individual case, (TB, MDR TB, or TDR TB. )
