योगश्चित्तवृत्ति निरोध:: But what is happening is that Asanas have come to symbolise Yoga in consumerist society. People are not interested in purifying mind (मन); they are interested in body. All the 8 stages of yoga must be traversed: यम, नियम, आसन, प्राणायाम, प्रत्याहार, धारणा, ध्यान, समाधि। Vipashyana (विपश्यना ) can help one comprehend and master Pratyahar, Dharana, Dhyan and Samaadhi. In yoga day In India, we can give first 15 mins of the day to yoga in all offices. Before that spread the meaning and benefits of yoga to all by using different communication channels.
If possible, our Indian embassy in other countries can also organise an event for yoga for the people of other countries on that day.

World knows Yoga only as a type of exercise or meditation. As a celebration, we should represent the Yoga with its ancient history, divisions & sub-divisions (like Yam, Niyam etc.), Surya Namaskar etc. at UN forum and make whole world aware of the Original Yoga.

We can celebrate this through various means:
1.Mass participation for particular Asan like SURYA NAMASKAR
2.Educate and communicate benefits of YOG through each and every part of Gram Panchayat, Block, ...to Ministry, Loksbha, Rajyasabha
3. Women can do something more in this area because her health is the foundation of family and community health and social progress. This chain is crossover the globalization.
4. Every education centre should incorporate their assembly with yogic exercises
