There should be a Marathon. As we merathon is a race of almost 5 km which is organised to make the people aware about a particular thing. So whyn't to organise Merathon on International level and tell the importance of yoga to our youth such that more and more mass participation of youth would be there as well it would be interesting too.

As i gone through Yoga module for International Yoga Day which is uploaded in CCRYN (Central Council for Research in Yoga Naturopathy) website, I found beginning prayer and end prayer is not familiar for most of Yoga graduates and Yoga Sadakas.
So i suggest please give reference, from where these prayer is referred and meaning in English.
If possible please include prayer like Pathanjali prayer or Asothgoma sadgamaya prayer or sarve bhavanthu sukinaha r sahanavavthu sahana bhunathu

Females need special attention regarding yoga. They care for family members but ignore herself. This would be great challenge.

#InternationalDayofYoga : We can enlighten people about how yoga contributes to the physical & mental wellbeing through print & electronic media. If necessary, pamphlets may be distributed highlighting the benefits of yoga. We can also institute a National Award to a person with outstanding contribution in yoga to be announced / awarded on the International Yoga Day.

All Central and State Govt employee should do Yoga every day in view of prevention from diseases. They have been usually paid medical allowance or reimbursement in large amount by the Govt. which is tax collected money from the people. Henceforth such medical reimbursement or medical facilities should only be provided to the govt employees after ensuring that they have practicing Yoga everyday for prevention of diseases.

Practicing Yoga, can instill spirituality in the Youth of today who are driving in the fast lane.
It can bring them to their roots at the same time making them better citizens of the world.
In our schools we could have Yog as an optional subject right from the recommended age. It can prove an alternative to physical sports, as many schools of today lack proper facilities for sports.
