Reuse saves us money and saves our environment. Discarded old clothes, electronics building materials and furniture etc. just end up in landfills. If you have no use of an item, you can try to sell it (at cheap rate) or just give it away to a user. Try it. You will be surprised that many people may like to have the item that you have no use for.

Respected All,
We feel lot of rain water is getting wasted through floods in many houses in Bangalore.
Since the loss of water is repetitive, it would be best to have a detailed census regarding rain water flood in each independent house and apartment in Bangalore.
Rain water harvesting may not be applicable for all houses and apartments. Because in most of the places we have Underground Water Level to ground level or just near to it with a gap of 1 foot or few foots. So, we need to take census of ground water level in each independent home and apartment in Bangalore.
Based on this we need to plan for collecting in larger tanks for storage of rain water. Near each Lake, if we have a multi storey building for Hydrophobic agriculture utilising the rain water. Then we may have arrived at the best solution.
Solving a problem is always easier when we look into it in detail.
So, I feel it would be best to form a dedicated team to make the utilisation of rain water flood.
