India is one of the leaders in sustainable development and clean energy. With the Hon PM Narendra Modi-led government’s reform-oriented, environment-friendly policies, the country has time & again shown that sound environmental policies can pave the way to a sound economy.

At the UN Climate Change Conference COP26 in 2021, PM Shri Narendra Modi announced the ‘LiFE’, a mission to bring individual behavioural change at the forefront of the global climate action narrative. LIFE or Lifestyle for Environment along with the ‘Pro Planet People’ movement, aims to strengthen the efforts to overcome climate change.

LiFE will replace the prevailing 'use-and-throw’ thinking with an environmentally conscious lifestyle. The Mission is to create a global community of ‘Pro-Planet People’ (P3), who with their shared commitment will adopt and promote environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Individual Efforts Are Key to Climate Commitment

India's traditional knowledge strongly positions it to lead the narrative of addressing climate change. Like many other mass movements, LiFE aims to inspire climate action based on the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’.

MyGov invites you to share your ideas and suggestions on how to adapt to an environmentally conscious lifestyle.

3. Recycle
4. Renewable
5. Recover
6. Re-design
7. Re-manufacture

Few examples for the above:
Reduce - Electricity, Fuel Usage
Reuse - Old Clothes, Electronics, Building materials, furniture
Recycle - Plastic, newspapers, cartons, boxes
Renewable - Solar, Wind, Hydro, Tidal, Geothermal & Biomass
Recover - Forests, rivers, soil, mountains, wildlife
Redesign - Green buildings
Remanufacture - E-waste for new purposes

Our civilisational values have taught us the importance of living in harmony with nature. Today, let’s come together to protect our environment & take forward Mission LiFE - Lifestyle for Environment.

Here are my humble suggestions. All Government buildings, schools, colleges and hospitals should have Solar powered lights and auto sensors to switch off the power when no one is there. Every individual house and private companies should install these auto sensors to switch off any electrical items when they are not in use. This will save the power. Complete ban on usage of plastic covers and plastic water bottles inside all the Government buildings, Secretariat. Every MLA ,MPs, Ministers should carry their own water bottle or flask. All use and throw plastic plates and cups should be banned in all canteens. Only recyclable materials should be given to everyone. Ban on Gutkha, Shampoo sachets in small plastic sachets near major rivers, lakes and temples will reduce the plastic pollution. Government should strictly enforce this ban.. If anyone sells plastic covers they should be fined heavily. A mobile van to collect plastic wastes in major cities will help to minimise the pollution

* पर्यावरण को बचाने में कई हद तक पशु-पक्षियों का भी काफी महत्व है। अनावश्यक पेड़ कटने से पक्षियों का बसेरा खत्म हो गया है, इस वजह से उनकी बहुत-सी प्रजातियां विलुप्ति की कगार पर हैं अत: पशु-पक्षियों के जीवन की रक्षा करना मनुष्य का पहला कर्तव्य है।

प्रकृति या पर्यावरण संरक्षण के सरल उपाय | Paryavaran ko Bachane ke upay घर की खाली जमीन, बालकनी, छत पर पौधे लगायें ऑर्गैनिक खाद, गोबर खाद या जैविक खाद का उपयोग करें कपड़े के बने झोले-थैले लेकर निकलें, पॉलिथीन-प्लास्टिक न लें खिड़की से पर्दे हटायें, दिन में सूरज की रोशनी से काम चलाये!!!

पर्यावरण (अंग्रेज़ी: Environment) शब्द का निर्माण दो शब्दों से मिल कर हुआ है। "परि" जो हमारे चारों ओर है"आवरण" जो हमें चारों ओर से घेरे हुए है,अर्थात पर्यावरण का शाब्दिक अर्थ होता है चारों ओर से घेरे हुए। पर्यावरण उन सभी भौतिक, रासायनिक एवं जैविक कारकों की समष्टिगत एक इकाई है जो किसी जीवधारी अथवा पारितंत्रीय आबादी को प्रभावित करते हैं तथा उनके रूप, जीवन और जीविता को तय करते हैं। पर्यावरण वह है जो कि प्रत्येक जीव के साथ जुड़ा हुआ है हमारे चारों तरफ़ वह हमेशा व्याप्त होता है।

Cause of degradation of your environment begins from our house.The concrete used to build it warms the internal atmosphere due to which hot summers require AC and then emissions of CFC's worsens the quality of air so other alternatives for building construction should be used, as our primitive culture promotes houses of stones and mud which not even leaves residues after demolition and contributes to nature conservation further trees like banayan,neem and Tulsi should be grown near houses because unlike show plants they are medicinal and also purifies the air. Moreover utensils of mud and metal should only be preferred, ignoring glass and crockery because in many parts of India, glass smelting has turned people blind and children involved in child labour. Suggestions are many but most importantly the use of plastics should be banned and Government should impose fine on people who commits any kind of environmental degradation activity like deforestation and open waste disposal.

To live better life on this planet on the coming year we people have to opt for the satvik jeevan shaili style which are ancestors were doing in their era. If we do not follow or go for the roots to nature we lost our eco system and balance to live on this planet. For example - New Delhi is a place where children firstly got holidays for the Summer Vacation But now we are seeing the kids got breaks for pollution which is very severe and critical condition to live. reason for the polltion is the watse created by humans. to decrease this things we should use paper bags reuse our clothes and reduce the use of plastic bags we can reuse the c;lothes while mzaking ols clothes an utility bag for vegetables and so on things. there are so many more ideas to create the eco frindly life styles to save our only place to live is our Green Earth.
