Govt should encourage industries to discharge their duties towards environment by encouraging them to adopt one or two villages in barren lands or desert area for plantation and for this due reduction in tax must be given to these industries

For Industrial use of water make it compulsory for every industrial setup to established water treatment plant in their place for reuse of water as much possible and if they cannot use this water it must be well treated before leaving into drain and strict audit must be carried out on regular interval for this if any deviation found that must result in cancellation of license and for drain and sewage system of cities water treatment plant must be established at regular intervals before leaving this water to rivers so that only treated water will go to rivers this will help to reduce river pollution and for this central govt must issue separate grants under river clean project if any state deviate that must result in stop of river clean grant along with 10 percent reduction of whole state grant so that no state can run away from responsibility ultimately one day river will become clean

Tilldate Almost all development focused on major cities which is unfortunately built on fertile land therefore due urban building development there are great reduction in fertile land for agriculture so keeping that in mind govt should develop long term plan to provide water to barren land or develop rain water harvesting system in those area beside that keeping irregular rains in mind in the desert place govt should develop ponds at regular intervals for collecting rain water and system must be devised to divert excess water of neighborhood to these ponds beside these govt should make plan to divert flood water of near by rivers to these ponds so that after some time vegetation can be grown to these areas

In my opinion there are enough of ideas,Schemes & programmes already in working but the main thing which I think we lag in is it's implementation..A word is just a word without implementation...I have been trying from long to convince people around me to follow all these methods of LiFE...But then nobody listens because I am not in authority & they do not listen unless there is some law or they have to pay fines...I have myself been following all this as much I can do on my part...
But the need is that every single person gets sensitized towards it.
And that can be done by working from the grassroot level I.e. working in a decentralized manner.Things should be practically inculcated in minds of school going students and it should not be done just for the sake of doing. It can be added in the study curriculum. Moreover information camps at local level should be organised( I would be happy to organize camps with the help of some authoritative person, jisako log seriously le)

Environmental life means live according to natural supported system.it is our duty to maintain eco friendly life style.
1Eco friendly product has been used in our daily life.
2 Don't use plastic concept should be followed in practical life.
3 Plantation is a way to maintain eco friendly status of earth.one man one plant concept should be adopted for large scale plantation .
3 solar energy is a substitute of other energy resources.we would focus on consume clean energy.
5 Every house hold should be a garden in roof top of our building.
6 Awareness is a best way to sustainable environmental life .

Food security plays a vital part in an environmentally sustainable future.
This is not just about production (and how to reduce excess production of sugarcane, basmati, tea, potatoes, cotton and instead grow more of mustard, sesame, pulses, fruits and vegetables) but also about consumption.
India has seen street vendors disappear over the decades.
Some states have come up with innovative ideas like fruits/vegetable trucks in urban areas.
A staple and a rich diet is crucial for the Indian society and micro-financed food stalls need to be promoted further across India and spots in urban/sub-urban areas identified for these micro-entrepreneurs to conduct their business. Both permanent/semi-permanent and temporary food stalls need to be promoted. From chaat vendors, to stalls selling fruits and vegetables to small chai shops to small restaurants serving fresh and hygienic meals.
This would also bring stability to millions of poor.
