In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

Dear Finance Minister, To drive our economic growth, we should focus on certain key areas: 1. Electronics- 70-80 % is imported. we should start manufacturing reliable, quality devices like mobile devices, consumer electronics here 2. Aircraft- We should aim to build and assemble aircrafts in India. Should also have aircraft maintenance here. This will create lakhs of employment as well 3. Ship building- We should have more shipyards and export to other countries. We should aim to be in the top 3

This suggestion pertains to saving tax payer's money. If price of any item on GeM is more than the price offered by any other vendor,Authorities must be allowed to procure from such vendors.Printout of L1 offered price on GeM can be attached in such cases to verify this. Other vendor will mean vendors not listed with "GeM".

5 Day Banking - An opportunity for Indian economy to gain INR 7,000 Crores and Zip Zap Zoom Safe ePayments Reserve Bank of India on late evening of 20/04/2019 issued a press release stating that the news of 5 Day Banking is not true. There are multiple benefits if 5 day banking is adopted. The economy will gain Rs7,000/- crores by way of additional spending by bank employees on various activities. Sir 1. Income upto 10Lakh should be excluded from income tax as it will enhance spending and GST collection AS ANY SPENDING OF HIGH INCOME GROUP IS ANYWAY COVERED IN GST. 2. Real estate resale registration value should be brought down to 5 percent and the stamp duty must be for the difference of capital gain ONLY

A committee of Panchayat member,service area Bank official,agricultural department official will assess the crop loss in that ward, and the claim to be submitted to insurance company accordingly. A ten percent increase in agricultural produces by every year to be ascertain by government. If the market price is less than the cost productive price, govt will compensate the difference.
