Dear Madam, This is the same suggestion with a MORE clarification - Filing of IT returns by individuals / organisations has to be scrapped completely. Only TDS @ 0.5 % for any payments above Rs.25000/- has to be effected and remitted to the government. Thus, the partiality between TAX PAYERS and NON-PAYERS will be eliminated. Thus all unaccounted dealings will ALSO come into tax net. Thus we will generate MORE revenue and discard difference between high income and low income groups.

One time relief measures permitting all the NPA accounts upto Rs 100 crores to settle the dues with concessions in one years time will not only revive businessman's confidence but also will help to reduce the NPAs quickly and also will create more employment and productivity.

Respected FM, I suggest a FIXED AMOUNT of customs duty and all other taxes per barrel of crude oil, or litre of petrol and diesel instead of existing value based taxes. This will give a steady income to the government. No need to increase the taxes if the crude oil price falls and get a bad mane for the government. The prices will go up only moderately with respect to the crude oil price rise and general public will not feel the pinch much.

Entrepreneurs are the biggest asset bcos they create jobs by taking risks. Due to demonetization and economic slowdown many businesses are closed and their accounts have become NPA. To revive the confidence in entrepreneurs Govt should come out with one time relief measures for all the NPA accounts with book outstanding upto Rs 100 crores or Rs 50 crores permitting to pay 80% of book o/s for NPAs upto 5 years,70% of book o/s for NPAs upto 10 years and 60% for NPAs above 10 years.
