Reusable Menstrual Hygiene products must be distributed in the schemes under Health and Education instead of disposable sanitary napkins. As they are reusable they will prove to be economically sustainable. The huge reduction in waste would mean further savings as waste management costs reduce for local governments and municipalities

On transfer of moneys to wife, income therefrom is taxed in the hands of husband, which takes away motivation for transfer of assets to wives. If there is some relief on taxation front husbands will willingly transfer ownership of assets to their wives. There can a limit to it, say, one-third of earning of husband in a FY if transferred absolutely to wife, income there from to be taxed in the hands of wife only. There would be miniscule impact on fiscal but huge impact on women empowerment
