In place of income tax ,plz introduce banking transaction tax for withdrawal so that govt will get more tax because of multiple transactions and if the transaction tax is around 3 % ,people happily pay this tax in the absence of Income tax.Hence no tax avoiders.

1. Heavy taxes on plastic production to discourage and eventually phase out plastic manufacture. 2. Incentives and tax-breaks to compost at source (homes, apartments, offices, party halls, schools, colleges) 3. Reduce taxes on Sustainable Menstrual products such as menstrual cups. My suggestion is that the government can collect more tax by making people think to pay the tax willingly. If people find some benefit in paying tax, they will not evade from paying taxes. For example, if a person who has already got 20% tax deducted from his salary, gets some benefit, say a 10-20% discount in paying other taxes like road toll tax, food tax. This will encourage the non tax payers to think about it and start paying tax because they are not getting any benefit in such schemes.

For senior citizens kindly delete the levy of capital gains on listed equities & equity mutual funds as its computation with grandfathering is very difficult and we are unable to file IT returns ourselves (maybe it can remain applicable for assessees with business or professional income).
