In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

Honourable Finance Minister Madam, I am submitting some of the issues relating to the country and the north east for consideration to take into accounts in the budget or otherwise. in fact we all love our country and make it to one of best socially and economically strong country. Respected Madam, Kindly decrease the advance railway reservation period from 4 months to 2 months since the people who have to travel on an urgent basis are unable to get confirm tickets and thus, have to travel in long waiting list and they don’t get confirm tickets. People who don’t have to travel anywhere for e.g. touts book these tickets 4 months in advance and thus the passengers who genuinely need these tickets are unable to get it.

Respected FM Madam, I am salary person, I expect to this union budget for increasing of 80C of Rs. 1.5 lac to 2 lac for the ft 2019_20. Thanks madan with regards. Sandeep

My Ideas: 1. Compulsory 'urban forest' in all cities to reduce pollution. 2. Air purifying towers for all metro cities to reduce pollution. 3. Mandatory adoption of electric vehicles as official cars for officials for both Central and State Govt.

Giving benefit under CSR to companies to sponsor prosthesis for their divyang employees 6. Simplifying the process of obtaining driving licence for divyangs

Suggestions 1 Kindly allocate 8% of GDP for Education. Central Govt should take care of all School buildings & infrastructure, let state govts run the schools efficiently 2 Allocate 5% of GDP to Healthcare, make ALL healthcare FREE. Build one AIIMS in each District. Improve PHCs 3 Reduce Salaries & Reimbursements of MPs, MLAs, IAS, Govt Emplyees and allocate money to Health & Farmers 4 Reduce Defense Budget, make armed forces efficient, use less manpower 5 Allocate money for Police Reforms
