In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

e-KYC should be made acceptable for opening of Demat account, Broking Account and National Pension System Account. This will make the process more simpler and faster, reduce paper work, will help Financial Inclusion and also help reach National Pension sytem to masses. Digital method of paying stamp duty through e-stamping platform of Stock Holding should be implemented by all States and UTs.

In Chennai Division of Southern Railway EMU trains are given least preference over express/Supefast/Goods trains. This is happening in Morning and evening Peak hours also. To effectively monitor the suburban trains, DRM-Suburban post is to be created. Now Chennai is having Tambaram, Tiruvallur, Gummidipundi and Velacheri suburban sections. Now Arakkonam to Chengalput section also suburban trains are introduced.

Respected Madam, Please consider 1. To enhance the tax rebate u/s 80U for physically challenged persons. 2. To focus on the Business income instead of income from salary to increase inflow for the government 3. To increase tax rebate u/s 80C

respcted honorable finance minister ,i request u to kindly consider the plight of female children born of intercaste , intercommunity, interreligious marriage. the society is yet to recognize them as any other individual. the financial status alone can give them social security. i request u to introduce LIC plans like Jeevan Shanthi but without age specifications, GST.parents can sell some property and invest them for their daughters in such plans for their economic security in future.thank u

4. To earn more revenue the educational institutions should be excluded from charitable clause as no educational institutions run for charitable purpose and are solely for profit motive. It will give huge revenue to Nation.

3. There must be check in regard to cases where person has availed concession as to interest on borrowed capital on residential H.P. and the said HP must not to sell for specified period.

2. Interest rate on FDR may be increased to have security of life and also concessional bank rates for loans be given only to traders and not on luxury cars and houses (for investment purpose only) Rich class can bear high rate of interest on luxury cars and houses which are for investment purpose.

1. Income u/s 44AE for 12 MT Vehicles weight is required to be shown at Rs. 7500/- per month. For vehicle above 12 MT the assessee is required to show for every 1 MT weight the presumptive income at Rs. 1000/ per month. It is suggested to ease the same by easing the income criteria as “the taxability may be calculated as upto 12 MT 7500/- pm and for every additional 1 MT 1000/ p.m. This is suggested as there are high amount of expenses for heavy vehicles goods carrier.

Respected Nirmala ji IAM looking at incentives for unemployed. If a person is unemployed for >6 months please provide some benefits in terms of travel discount if the person is going for interview.He or she could get some allowance as is provided in European countries.This would make a whole lot of difference to confidence level of youth.The practise of MNC companies to use and throw people who are overpaid or overexperienced should be controlled with meaningful labour laws &salary standardised
