For ease of living the following suggestion may be considered...when a person sells a house and buys another, to avail of LTCG exempton, she has to buy another, she has to buy CG bonds within 6 months of sale or can deposit in CG tax saving scheme by the time of filing tax return for the year to use the proceeds to buy another house later. Since The choice between the two options may need to be made in the same time, the option of buying CG bonds should also be available until filing of return

1. The tax exemption slap should be increased by 1 lac , from 2.5 lac to 3.5 lac and shift the slab gradually shift the slab upwards keeping the tax rates constant. This will boost the overall consumption cycle by giving more income to the people to spend and also contribute through the indirect tax mode.
2. set in a plan for states a phased wise Water Grid for agriculture and sanitation- like Power Grid is for electricity transmission. Annuity revenue plan by Rs./gallon can be put in place

Many govt depts are in need for a computerization (eg. driving license addr change, electricity meter xfer to new owner, municipal transport payroll systems, etc). Please start a computerization project to give contracts on business-process consultancy and IT software implementation to *Indian* pvt firms like Infosys, TCS, etc. Just as US makes laws to benefit US companies, let us also take steps that benefit *Indian pvt* companies by giving such contracts only to Indian companies. See attached.
