In order to make the Union Budget-making process participative and inclusive, the Ministry of Finance has sought inputs from citizens for the last several years. This year too, the Ministry looks forward to hearing from you on your suggestions for the Union Budget which will be presented in the Parliament in the upcoming session.

Citizens from all walks of life are welcome to be a part of this democratic exercise. You can submit your suggestions either directly in the comments box or attach a PDF document.

We seek your valuable ideas to continue the tradition of the Union Budget incorporating the citizens’ aspirations. The last date for submissions on this forum is 20th June 2019.

1. Keep two income tax slabs instead on current three slabs 2. Please come up with incentive schemes to how we can minimize the cash transactions. 3. Most of merchandise has Credit card swapping machines but most of them are not functioning so there should be check/review by bankers to deploy more machines at marchindise. Banks should be penalized for non functioning of their machines 4. The income tax return should be file by all government servants and politicians if not doing so.

Give free or ultra low price supply through public distribution system only for people at the bottom most of the pyramid; free ration doesnt help; people should be encouraged to earn and live.

1. Provide incentives to tax payers as per tax paid by reducing registration cost of cars. 2. No tax exemptions like agricultural . All must pay tax 3. Purchase of cars only by tax payers. ITR must to buy four wheeler. No more than 2 cars per tax payer. 4. Give tax incentives to security forces personnel as done in foreign countries. 5. Increase tax bracket...5 to 10 lakhs - 5% 10 to 20 lakh - 10%...20 to 50 lakh - 20%. Beyond 50-30%. 6. Petrol & diesel in GST 7. Biggest note-100 rupees

Madam, Modiji is promoting ease of doing business. For this, it is necessary that tax structure is stabilised. Retrospective amendment in tax provisions, which are against the interest of the assessees,very badly impact business structure of the assessee and very bad message go the world at large. It should be assured in the budget that no such practice would be followed in future. Further, a set structure of taxation should be made with only minimum changes according to the requirement.

Several house owners in Metro cities build multiple houses and collect rent in different family members name to avoid tax on income. Law has to be amended so that Rent has to be paid only to owners only and has to be paid online only to avoid HRA benefit.
