Respected Madam Disposable drinking water and soft drinks bottles is a major generator of plastic waste. If usage of recyclable glass bottles is promoted by tax concessions, this problem could be resolved at large. Tax concession should adequately compensate manufacturers for additional expenditure incurred towards washing and cleaning the bottles prior reuse, increased transportation costs due to considerably higher weight of glass bottles and better packing to prevent breakages in transit.

Also, i would suggest an increase in Budget Allocation in the range of 15% to 30% in addition to the existing proposals for sectors like Defence, Cyber security, Space security taking into consideration, the fast changing global scenario in these sectors which are key to a safe, secure, vibrant and powerful economy. Growth in these sectors will determine the future of our nation's safe, secure and peaceful existence and economic growth and stability.

Millions of people in India have PAN card, without paying any income tax. It is being used as ID proof rather than the PAN card. With Aadhar now available to all citizens, this PAN card is no more needed to be used for identity proof. So I suggest government to charge an income tax of flat Rs. 500/year to all PAN card holders if they do not file a IT return. For easy deposit of this amount the banks may be authorized with a very simple format just including, Name, full address & PAN number.
